Our Story;;
50,000 years ago the humans roamed the earth. They drove around in cars and trucks. The pollution was stacking up. You couldn’t see the stars every night like we used to do before all that. Many used computers and killed the world single handed with the electricity. Horses were set free as many of them got free or the owners didn’t want them. Wandering the lonely path they made so many years ago, was now worn down. The humans died, but a couple still alive. They live on the streets, sometimes in buildings, but most are unstable. Stray dogs run around, so humans are frightened of the dogs attacking them. The cats wander the streets and up trees. The horses run along the planes. Attempting to find any land they can to claim. Fighting for lone mares and land is quite usual, then suddenly another blow caught the horses, a stupid human was building a timemachine, with such chemicals I cannot describe. It blew up. Changing the human and all the chemicals went into the air as a dangerous Chemical cloud. Birds dropped from the sky, they twitched on the floor. Alive, but changing. It spread around and towards the horses that fled as fast as they could and into caves or open buildings. The cloud passed, but they still fell onto the floor.
Five years later the horses felt the twinges. No-one bred but one Stallion and Mare, deeply in love bred. When the foal was born they saw the odd markings it held. Every horse came around the foal. Smiling at each other. They could breed now! Lots of foals were born in that year, the markings kept coming and the generations kept going. Lots of equines had daggers or lightning bolt or a sign somewhere on them. It showed their personality said one equine. It’s the future said one equine. It was getting harder and harder as many horses tried to figure out what the markings meant. It made lots of equines shiver with fright. Two years passed, the foals grew up and they claimed land and settled down. The grass was fairly long due to the chemical cloud. In those two years equines split from each other, going into alliances. Lights, were kind and light hearted. The Neutrals were kind and unkind. They couldn’t make up their mind and the Darks. The darks were cruel, and trechourous. They thought all these signs were showing the behaviour. So daggers meant killer. Rose meant betrayer and so fourth. Neutrals were alright as they were on both sides, but a quarrel against the Light and Darks happened about the Neutrals were on their side and that was when the Darks turned on them. The Lights turned on them. The Neutrals were stuck. Confused and angry. It was a time to never be forgotten…
In the beginning before beginnings of Evenlla, there was only darkness. Within that darkness was chaos; pure, utter, chaos. Today chaos never sleeps as he calls upon his demon alliance to purge the world of all good and construct the bridge of destruction. With a breath of hope, a prophecy is uncovered, foretelling of seven powerful guardians, each bestowed the essence of one element, to form a most powerful alliance. Doubt surges high, for what seers believe to be the chosen ones fit no standards of others. Evenlla wants rich, mighty, male warriors, but have found themselves nomadic, female ones. With the prophesied last hope shattered and Evenlla in shambles, will you muster up all the strength to send the evil back to hell or will you join the hunt and let everything burn?
Come in and join the fun! If you don't feel like role playing come and hang out. We've got a lot of games, stories you can read, contests, a comic section, and so much more!

Type: Fantasy Horse RPG Magic?: Yes Creatures Allowed: Horses (and soon to be adding wolves) Started: August 28, 2008 Activity: Active and still growing Admin: Halo Positions Open: Some in Future Why Play Here?: Come and play in an ever-growing setting with colorful and imaginative characters. Quest ofr magic or get wishes granted; there is hardly anything that cannot be accomplished at Mists of Penori where you can be confident in the friendly staff and be sure your bios are accepted quickly so you can get down to the real reason you came: to play and RP.
The Story: About two hundred or so years ago, though time has been lost since the time I speak of, the world was a warzone. There seemed to be relative peace, but the world as we knew it was being torn apart by other means. Man was found to be a destructive creature and nearly brought to ruin the wild horses of the earth. They were taken away to be punished unjustly beneath the whip and yoke of a plow. From ill treatment they were nearly wiped out.
The remainder of the beautiful wild beasts were busy trying to stay hidden when a savior arrived. His name was Fallen and he lead them safely away from the destruction, saving those he could from their oppressors with his gifts and talents and powers. He took them to a valley named Penori, one that humans had not stepped on in a millennium, protected and guarded by a shield of magic (animals could come in, humans were blinded to the valley’s existence).
He set himself up as Lord Protector, justly watching over his large herd. As time went by, the numbers grew and he assigned beneath him three other leaders, one each for the inclination of sides: the lights, darks, and neutrals. And things were very well for awhile until one day Fallen did not appear as he usually would. The mighty and much loved stag simply disappeared. Many say that he perished for unknown reasons, some speculate he left to seek out more of the oppressed, and the cynical will say he grew tired of his responsibilities and left out of selfish desires.
All anyone knows is that the guardians he left in charge eventually, also, gradually, vanished after him. After that the world they had created fell into chaos as is as we know it today. Many search for their Lord to this day. Will he ever come back with his guardians to restore balance to the alliances once again? Or has him and his morals and legend died along with his presence?

The Story --> Ancient lore speaks of three great races of the Horse. The original, the horned, and the winged. Whispers of magic and songs of glory uphold these creatures in an eternal bond with each other. A reign of equal power and a shared friendship between the three races.
Those were lies.
As the three great races of the Horse began to expand their numbers and power, so grew their arrogance and tenacity. The first Equine was a white stallion by the name of Nieque. He claimed the earth as his ally and used brute strength in his tactics. The first Unicorn emerged as a white stallion known as Cinnoru. He claimed the water as his ally and so his grace betrayed his inner ferocity. The first Pegasus was created as a white stallion called Sepagus. He claimed the wind as his ally and ambushed his enemies from the heavens. Fire ran hot in all their veins, bringing both light and dark into their souls.
The three stallions faced each other on one fateful dawn. They all roared out their leadership over the entire realm, and in the dying echo of their cries their bodies crashed. Hoof, horn and wing met only blood, not the throne they all craved for. They were born as equals and so they died as equals. But their herds, their legacy remained behind their greed ridden bodies. Confused and uncertain the herds blamed each other and vowed revenge to be seized. You are their legacy, and you must uphold the truth. Whichever race of the Horse you stand as, you are a warrior of vengeance. Welcome to Isilme.
<-- The Objective
--> Isilme is a land divided not by alignment, but by species. The decision to be an Equine, Unicorn or Pegasus is the first of many you will make. <--
--> Each race has a different territory they reign across. The Equines live in a grassy valley. The Unicorns upon a white sand beach. And the Pegasus thrive within snow topped mountains. <--
--> Each race is grouped into a single herd led by a Stallion and/or a Mare. Warriors are the next ranking of the herd, but they may be personally divided into standings as the leaders see fit. The rest of the herd is made up of stallions, mares and foals who work to populate the land, bring in new members and defend their honor. <--
--> You do not have to choose to be a character who participates in or even likes to fight. However, the herds and their past are based upon battle and revenge. Eternal enemies do the races remain- but the way they are led is entirely left up to the leaders. If a moment of peace between two races will help eradicate the third, then let it be done. If a false peace so sneaky tactics can be set up, let it be done. No herd land is permanent, and no one is safe from being stolen or targeted. <--
--> As an added addition there exists minimal amounts of magic controlled by acts of Random Events. Equines may receive a miniature dragon as a pet, while Unicorns and Pegasus might be blessed with fragments of the elements that their original leaders possessed. Odd coloration is also determined by which races breed together and a Random Event. <--
--> The average droll of herd life will not occur in Isilme. The routine of meet and greet new members, take them home, and then maybe plot with them is only a small fraction of this realm. The freedom the leaders of the herds have and the drive to overtake each other keeps the races from a determined set of equality. You can be overthrown, you can be tossed from your herd land- if you fail. <--
--> Can you take the challenge of such fierce competition? Are you willing to find out? Then venture into Isilme, everyone is welcome. <--
... With the rise of a brand new civilization, the horses of Sublime went through drastic changes. The introduction of certain mythicalities became well known and sought after, but there were only few that were given the power to Bestow. The Gods of their world had purposely made it hard for an individual to receive said powers, for they had to approach a horse with Bestowal and perform quests of the sort to get what they wanted. The population of these special beings is small, and sometimes the horses of Bestowal become greedy with this power.
Your decision: will you join the growing population of a new species, risk your life and others' in a journey to fit in with the new crowd? Or will you remain normal, without the luxuries that might just drive your world mad?
Do you have what it takes? « Result #8 on Aug 21, 2008, 5:47pm »
Do you have what it takes?
The Rose Murray Modeling agency prides itself in getting it's models top jobs with the top designers. If you get in with Murray, you are sure to be an automatic success.
Success is supposed to be worked for. Getting to the top should not be easy. Most here will step on anyones toes, sleep with whomever they can, and backstab who they must just to be able to shine
The modeling world is not easy. Not at all. Having to be nearly perfect to be in this world, there is much pressure to go down the road of drugs, sex, drinking and disorder without much of a push at all.
You have to be strong, You have to be smart, and if you want fame bad enough, you have to be able to do anything
Long ago, in the land of Kend!e, four creatures were created. They possessed many of the traits from so-called "mythical" creatures, mermaid tails, vampire fangs, and unearthly beautiful looks, to name a few. These four creatures were called Kendies. They were Jacqueline and Isabella, sisters, and Jazper and James, brothers.
Soon, however, they found out that two of them were different. Jacqueline and Jazper had red tails and could make the water they lived in boiling hot. Isabella and James had blue tails, and had the ability to make the water they swam in freezing cold-sometimes even freezing the surface. Despite these strange, newly-discovered differences, they fell in love. Jacqueline became Jazper's mate, and Isabella became Jame's mate. They lived happily on planet Kend!e for a long time, creating a bigger and bigger population of their race.
However, when the children grew up, trouble began to bubble beneath the surface. The red-tailed Kendies, now dubbed the Fire class, and the blue-tailed Kendies, now dubbed the Water class, didn't like each other at all. They were constantly getting in fights over what the temperature of the water should be, who's parents loved them more, and such like. The parents, not liking what they saw, tried to get their children to get along. But it was no use.
With the Fire and Water going at each other's throats, who will come out on top? Or, will they listen to the pleas of their parents, and join those lucky enough to go to the Sea in the Sky? Will there be so many Fires and Waters getting along that the Elders will come back to Kend!e?

You play sabretooth cats in a varied landscape. You can play a clan cat, a cadre cat or a loner/drifter. A simple, open plot has been created to kick start the game but players may create their own plots too. It has a few similarities to Warriors RPGs, but is an original game and stands on its own without using Warriors terms.
Plot: Dar-Calugthoth, leader of the Fearhorde, has faced down a kidnapping and a conspiracy, but the worst may be yet to come. As he wrestles with inner demons over what is the right thing to do, members of his own Fearhorde are turning against him. It is whispered and growled that the Dar has gone weak and must be ousted. Who will rule in the end?
Meanwhile, in Blueice Clan, Ninku the fighter sabrecat prepares to single-handedly slaughter an invading cadre of cats into his sister's cadre's territory. But he is about to discover that not only is his enemy mysteriously dead, but a horror has come to the Powderwhite Reaches that the lands have not known in untold generations. It has faded into legend...but is even worse than the stories tell.
And in Rillan territory, Dar-Wawkah prepares for new arrivals at his cadre. But along the wind comes the scent of an invader who has returned to claim what's his, though an ill-made bargain.
This RPG opened up on March 11, 2008. So far we have over 3000 posts and 100 members.
Knifetooth welcomes all players, from beginner to advanced.
NEW! As of this month, players can now also play ocelots, bobcats, jaguars, pumas, or Canadian lynxes as well as the four species of sabretooth cat already allowed!
I also affiliate with just about anybody who wants to. ^_^ I no longer reach out and request affiliations from others as I have had a couple people get rather nasty with me when I did, but we are open and welcome pretty much any affiliate, even brand new forums!
6/19 - Short-lived anger. What can I say? Yay for rainbows and sunshine. *sarcastic*
Carry on from where you left off, please. Remember the advertising contest. I'm also thinking of a skin contest. RotF is lacking in that area and though I've been told millions of times that the skins look fine and peachy keen, I'd like to give the members a chance to contribute their own work to the skins. Kind of like you're going down in history if your skin wins the contest. Something like that, whateva!
I'm open to ideas. Don't be offended if I decide not to use them. I'm picky when it comes to the precision of the site. >_>;;
That's all.
