BIG NEWS!
The site is moving from proboards to acornrack.com! Yep. That's right. Moving.
Seyvr and I have moved ALL posts over to the new site, but if we've missed any, give one of us a PM on the new site and we'll be sure to move them right over... or you could do it. =D
Snowy Peaks Glistening white snow falls from dark gray clouds above. Cold winds blow blizzards about the peaks of the snowy mountains, swift and cold enough to take your breath away. In rare moments, the clouds and the snow clear up and the sun shines upon the sparkling snow, glinting like diamonds. Few come here, but those that do trudge up the mountainside come only for the colorful lights in the sky. Veils of color light up the sky and shed their light upon the snow.
Wildflower Hills Red and yellow, blue and purple, orange and black. Flowers ranging in all different colors roll up and down these hills. Like the clearing in the forest, thousands of flowers bloom here in the spring. It's a place of peace where parents of the various herds can socialize as their foals prance about the hills. A stream runs through the center of the hills, cutting the land in half. One single tree, an apple tree, grows on the banks.

Deity Mountain Simply put, this is the mountain of the gods. Its title was given in the days when the gods walked among their new creatures, granting wishes and giving blessings. While the gods walked about all of the the Realm, they most often wandered upon this mountain, observing with their far-seeing eyes to the ends of the Realm and sometimes even beyond. This area remains the last known sighting of the gods before they took to the heavens to watch from above. It is still used as a place of worship and prayer.

The Arena Of Meetings Envision a stadium of stone rising from the ground, split only by two narrow entrances into the center and directly across from each other. Two half-circles standing erect despite the eroding weather. The stone circles around, rising in levels wide enough to allow thousands of equines to stand on each level. Sloping pathways covered by moss lead to each moss-carpeted level. The center of the arena is nothing but a dirt floor. This is where the herds gather to discuss important matters.

The Willow Grove Legend has it that the willow grove was planted by the goddess of love. She wanted a place where equines could step beyond the borders of their herds and find someone else to love. Thus, she created the willow grove. Each tree has the exact same amount of space in between the other trees. The strings of leaves prepare a intimate setting, hiding out the prying eyes of others and leaving lovers alone beneath the umbrella of branches.

Land of the Independent Those that wish to remain alone and away from herds live here. The land has bits and pieces of the herd lands combined inside of it, just a taunting taste of the full and glorious view of the real herds. Those that live here are not inclined to speak to one another and need not venture beyond this area for their needs.

The Sacred Pond The Sacred Pond lies in a wood furthest from all the herd lands. The trunks of the trees are a translucent white and their leaves an eerily transparent dark blue. Nothing but these trees grow here and no animal inhabits the trees. The silence is eerie and strange. The air is heavy with magic, an incredible power unknown to any of the equines. A single path breaks the trees and flows through the wood to the pond.
The water of the pond is a brilliant aquamarine that sparkles and glistens like snow, easily showing the white sand beneath. From the water rises a small island covered in thick, knee-height grass. The dark green grass is light enough so as to still appear green, but not dark enough to appear black. In the middle of the island stands an altar of white marble stone.

Perilous Tunnel A place hidden from the naked eye. Equines stumble upon the cavernous entrance and enter the mysterious labyrinth. Light flows through the carefully constructed cracks on the walls. If you are careful..You may never be found.
