 A Call for Companionship
« Thread Started on Jul 2, 2008, 1:12am »

Gently Kunama grazed on the soft grass. All the energy had been drained from her sore body after a long journey from her father's herd. This place was astonishingly beautiful, she could barely take her soft brown eyes away from the waterfall. Slowly she stopped grazing and began to step into the water, quickly she pulled her leg back out. It was freezing! But Kunama couldn't resist all the same, she playfully jumped into the pool sending hundreds of small droplets of water flying!
The water's depth was perfect, she could swim, but her hooves could just touch the sandy bottom. Instantly her body felt refreshed, she felt as if she could almost get out now and repeat her whole journey all over again. Not that she had any wishes to do so. Kunama was not suited at all to a life of loneliness, but that is what she had experienced for the last month, and how she hated it. No longer could she wait for companionship to come to her.
She had seen no sign of a horse in an entire month, but surely there must be horses here, in this beautiful place. Even if there were none, she wanted to know the answer. She slowly walked out of the water and trotted up the rocky hill beside the waterfall. As she reached the top Kunama lifted her beautiful head into the air and let the gentle wind blow at her glistening silver mane. She called out loud and clear, a call for companionship and a call for hope. If any horses were in this seemingly deserted, yet beautiful place, they would have heard her call.

Willow was not supposed to be there and hear Kunama, but he seemed to be there, after all that on beach,he wanted to have some rest while exploring more of this place. He was just walking to side of Kunama. He didn't realize anything there,he just walked, while daydreaming.
He came to this mare finally, while she would probadly be dieing of being alone. He was still moving to the clean water. He looked at her and his furry leg touched the water. As he felt how cold the water is,he took his hoof out and decided to greet this mare:"Hello,I am Willow, you can call me Will for short, that is how everyone calls me.".He tried to go into the sparkling water.Weirdly,he even managed. He swimmed to her and stopped, just to realize the water is still freezing and jumped out."Gosh, how cam you swim in that?"He asked her and shoke his white coat.

Kunama, even though she was standing in the cold water, felt her body warm up. Finally she had found another horse. The relief she felt could not be said in words. At once she left the water and walked slowly up to the cream coloured stallion that had just arrived. "Hello Will, I am Kunama. I am new to these lands, you are the first horse I have seen here. This place isn't as deserted as it seems is it?"
This stallion was obviously not of arabian heritage like herself, he was much bigger and stronger build, but this she did not mind the least bit. Playfully Kunama nipped the stallion on the wither and cantered away with her head and silver tail held high in the air, even though most horses would want the opposite after such a long journey, Kunama just wanted to run. She whinnied loudly, inviting Will to join her.

Will hesitated a little before coming back to the water. This time he juped in by letting a long wave through the water. There was also a wide splash. Will swimmed to and then away from her.He didn't have much to say,so he just that thank you to meet her:"Actually there are,but most of them are lazy."He had answered and now he was jut swimming,by trying to get warm. And he got out of water and left.
