The Waterfall The waterfall lies just beyond the rapids. The water plummets over the edge of the rocks and cascades to land in a pool of water below. The waterfall and its pool of water are surrounded by vegetation.
Rapids The calm water of the Zyxon River gradually explodes into raging rapids. Water flows quickly over the rocks in the riverbed, smoothing them over into round pebbles. These rough waters last for at least a mile before descending over the waterfall. This area of the river herd is by far the most dangerous. Only adults are allowed in this area for if a foal was caught in the water, it would not survive.

Water Rocks In the shall area of the river, rocks stand visible above the surface. They vary in size. Some are slippery and wet, others are firm and dry. Mares bring their foals here to play in the shallow water.

The Trees At the beginning of the river tribe's lands, trees create a protective boundary from the sky. They come in a variety of species and various shades of green. The herd tends to keep well into this area for it has a soothing quality to it, like a lullaby. It's a haven from the other herds.

The Flats About a mile beyond the waterfall lies open grasslands. Mild arguments have erupted over the possession of this piece of land and whether it belongs to the river herd or the plains herd. For now, the Zyxon River herd remain owners of the flowing green grasses. This is the perfect grazing area.
